In this context, Task 2.2 (Figure 1) developed a coherent and flexible methodology for the integrated sustainability assessment of City-Region Food System initiatives (CRFSI). This framework will support the evaluation and ranking of the sustainability of diverse existing CRFSI at local and international level. The framework is composed by two main items: a methodological framework (presented in D2.2) and a tailored data collection protocol (DCP - presented here). The DCP is coherent with the methodological framework, meaning that it shares an integrated Life Cycle Thinking (LCT) approach, the focus on CRFSI, and two levels of protocol: a simplified and an extensive one. The protocol provides detailed guidance and examples on how to collect, manage, and process the data needed for the methodological framework. The simplified DCP describes the process related to two surveys for the collection of quali quantitative information on CRFSI and their subsequent sustainability scoring. The initial survey (DCP600+) was circulated to the set of 680+ CRFSI outlined in Deliverable 2.1. The second, detailed survey (DCP100+) was circulated to a representative selection of 100+ CRFSI. The extensive DCP elaborates on the life cycle inventory phase of the extensive assessment layer, to provide more details on what type of data to collect and examples of inventory templates.

Abstract
The extensive DCP elaborates on the life cycle inventory phase of the extensive assessment layer, to provide more details on what type of data to collect and examples of inventory templates.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
