We describe 2 cases with 22q13 deletion where cognitive and behavioural disorders were complicated by continuous spike-waves during sleep (CSWS). In all subjects with psychomotor and speech delay is recommended to perform genetic investigations including 22q FISH; sleep EEG should be performed when cognitive deterioration recurs.
