The aim of this work was to propose a standard operating procedure in order to verify the reliability of the measuring system under normal laboratory conditions and to investigate one of the possible applications of OXITEST. For this reason the following steps were considered: a) evaluation of some parameters of validation in accordance with the Eurachem Guidelines. b) to test the ability of OXITEST in revealing the adulteration of vegetable oils.
