We investigated the effect of several elicitors on the production of resveratrol in Vitis vinifera cv. Barbera cell suspension cultures. Salicylic acid, Na-orthovanadate, jasmonates, chitosan and the monomers D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, ampicillin and rifampicin differently elicitated the accumulation of the trans and cis resveratrol isomers, both in the cells and in the culture media. Proteomic analyses also showed that methyl-jasmonate and chitosan stimulated the ex-novo synthesis of the stilbene synthase protein

Abstract
We investigated the effect of several elicitors on the production of resveratrol in Vitis vinifera cv. Barbera cell suspension cultures. Salicylic acid, Na-orthovanadate, jasmonates, chitosan and the monomers D-glucosamine and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine, ampicillin and rifampicin differently elicitated the accumulation of the trans and cis resveratrol isomers, both in the cells and in the culture media. Proteomic analyses also showed that methyl-jasmonate and chitosan stimulated the ex-novo synthesis of the stilbene synthase proteinFile in questo prodotto:
