The paper aims to reassess the archaeological and epigraphic data from the excavation of the Mausoleum of Iasos. The focus revolves around the functional transformations that occurred in Late Antiquity, when an artisanal complex for marble sewing was installed inside the complex. New and already-known graphic and epigraphic signs on Iassense marble blocks are analyzed and interpreted according to the relevant economic and productive context.
