Abstract

In this paper, we use the Theory of Figural Concepts to describe the geometrical reasoning when solvers cannot rely on visual information. We analyse a case study of a blind mathematician solving a geometrical task. Qualitative analyses allow to observe an effective figural and conceptual blending and better highlight the crucial role played by spatial aspect, embedded into the figural component.
