This contribution aims at critically discussing some theses of Tania Groppi’s recent book "Oltre le gerarchie. In difesa del costituzionalismo sociale" (Laterza 2021). After having synthetically reconstructed the most salient theoretical points of the work, in the following pages, both the juridical and the ethical level of the proposal will be examined, conceived as a “horizonal pluralism”.
