This paper investigates how the massive post-pandemic use of Zoom for simultaneous interpretation (SI) has transformed its practice and teaching. Drawing on data from refresher courses and the University of Bologna's MA Program in Interpreting, the study identifies challenges and best practices for utilizing this general-purpose video-conferencing platform in remote SI.
