This paper aims at offering some reflections on normativity and the concept of law in the context of the present «digital revolution». In particular, it initially focuses on the normativity of technology and on human outdatedness, recovering the notion of «Promethean shame» already formulated by Günther Anders in the middle of the last century. Subsequently, it reflects on the hypothesis of a computable law, highlighting a series of conceptual aporias and constitutive defects that risk amplifying inequalities, discrimination and structural social disadvantages. Finally, through a reference to the European regulation of artificial intelligence systems and a further recovery of the Anders’ lesson, ethics and its renewed relevance will be evoked.

Abstract
This paper aims at offering some reflections on normativity and the concept of law in the context of the present «digital revolution». In particular, it initially focuses on the normativity of technology and on human outdatedness, recovering the notion of «Promethean shame» already formulated by Günther Anders in the middle of the last century. Subsequently, it reflects on the hypothesis of a computable law, highlighting a series of conceptual aporias and constitutive defects that risk amplifying inequalities, discrimination and structural social disadvantages. Finally, through a reference to the European regulation of artificial intelligence systems and a further recovery of the Anders’ lesson, ethics and its renewed relevance will be evoked.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
