We describe two men with attacks of idiopathic paroxysmal nonkinesigenic dyskinesia (PNKD) during wakefulness and sleep and a family history o f febrile convulsions. They may represent a clinical variant of the ICCA syndrome (familial infantile nonfebrile convulsions and choreoathetosis). In addition, they differ from classical PNKD because of the attacks during sleep confirming the clinical heterogeneity of the paroxysmal dyskinesia.

Abstract
We describe two men with attacks of idiopathic paroxysmal nonkinesigenic dyskinesia (PNKD) during wakefulness and sleep and a family history o f febrile convulsions. They may represent a clinical variant of the ICCA syndrome (familial infantile nonfebrile convulsions and choreoathetosis). In addition, they differ from classical PNKD because of the attacks during sleep confirming the clinical heterogeneity of the paroxysmal dyskinesia.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
