Abstract
Circular Economy (CE) optimizes resource usage and reduces waste, but it requires companies’ leadership, to embrace genuinely sustainable values and vision to radically rethinking their network of inter-firm relationships. Moreover, practice suggests that a company’s top management team struggles to mediate between the adherence to individual executives’ sustainable values and the pursuit of conventional economic outcomes. In this paper, we propose a broad conceptual model that incorporates stewardship theory and social capital theory from an industrial marketing perspective. Our speculations converge to two research propositions aimed at analyzing a firm’s decision to join a B2B circular economy platform.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
