During a recent excavation in the southern necropolis of Tharros Capo – San Marco a primary cremation pit was brought to light. The grave goods consist of an important number of silver and gold jewellery. The metallic material was studied as part of a multidisciplinary project, which involved different scientific disciplines and methodologies, also in order to prepare the restoration of the most compromised artefacts.
