A novel and rapid realtime polymerase chain reaction (PCR) molecular approach for the detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, P. fluorescens and P. putida in biofilms in sheep dairy farms is described. This strategy is based on early detection of the subsequent rate: Pseudomonas vs. total bacteria in biofilm specimens using particular bi-functional FRET oligonucleotide probes named DUAL-FRET.

Abstract
A novel and rapid realtime polymerase chain reaction (PCR) molecular approach for the detection of Pseudomonas aeruginosa, P. fluorescens and P. putida in biofilms in sheep dairy farms is described. This strategy is based on early detection of the subsequent rate: Pseudomonas vs. total bacteria in biofilm specimens using particular bi-functional FRET oligonucleotide probes named DUAL-FRET.File in questo prodotto:
