Abstract

This contribution examines some passages (H15Ps I,2; H67Ps I,2) of the recently discovered “New homilies” on the Psalms – which can certainly be considered of Origen – in relation to the theme of παρρησία. While, in the first case, the oc- currence of the term is part of a long quotation from the Acts of the Apostles, in the second we are faced with a large development regarding the attitude of man towards God, and, therefore, prayer.
