Il presente articolo è un’ampia sintesi commentata, inframezzata dalla traduzione italiana di oltre quattrocentocinquanta distici del poema Gol o Nowruz di Khwāju Kermāni (XIV sec.). La sintesi è introdotta, dopo la presentazione dell’Autore e l’opera, da una discussione sui rapporti del Gol o Nowruz con il Vis o Rāmin di Gorgāni, il Khosrow e Shirin di Neẓāmi, il Khosrow-nāmé o Gol o Hormuz attribuito ad ‘Aṭṭār e la storia di “Goshtāsp e Katāyun” dello Shāh-nāmé di Ferdowsi. In tale disamina si evidenzia come il modello di Khwāju non sia soltanto Neẓāmi, come tradizionalmente è stato ritenuto, e si rileva che analogie anche più calzanti e pervasive sono riscontrabili piuttosto con il Khosrow-nāmé di ‘Aṭṭār e soprattutto con la storia ferdowsiana degli amanti Katāyun e Goshtāsp.
The present article is a large annotated synthesis, interspersed with the Italian translation of over four hundred and fifty couplets of the poem "Gol and Nowruz" by Khwāju Kermāni (fourteenth century). The synthesis is introduced, after the presentation of the author and the work, by a discussion on the relations of "Gol and Nowruz" with Gorgāni's "Vis and Rāmin", Neẓāmi's "Khosrow and Shirin", the "Khosrow-nāmé" or "Gol and Hormuz" attributed to 'Aṭṭār and the story of "Goshtāsp and Katāyun" of Ferdowsi's "Shāh-nāmé". In this article, it is shown that Khwāju's model is not only Neẓāmi, as traditionally believed, and it is noted that even more fitting and pervasive analogies can be found rather with the "Khosrow-nāmé" of 'Aṭṭār and especially with the Ferdowsian story of the lovers Katāyun and Goshtāsp.
