The ms. Par. Suppl. Gr. 388 contains, to date, the oldest medieval Latin translations of Greek poetic texts, written in line spacing, probably by Moses of Bergamo. This paper provides an edition of the Theognidean translation (vv. 1-256, 269-74, 1231-36), along with an overall evaluation, in order to frame the modus operandi of the translator, who is also capable of working ope ingenii on the Theognidean text with some appreciable interventions.
