This article began to take shape when two pedagogical experiences dedicated to work in prison context and born in universities on different continents (European and Latin American) started an intense dialogue that involved academic stays, joint work, reflection and collective production. The work runs through the actions, reflections and investigations carried out by the two authors of the article, around the Devoto University Center (hosted in a federal prison in the Argentine Republic). It also explores the notion of pedagogical territories, to characterize and make available the task carried out by the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Buenos Aires, in the different prisons where it located its intervention. It aims to provide a critical and reflective look to the field of education in prison context, to dialogue as a producer of knowledge, and why not, to pedagogy as a whole.
