In this work the application of a new Fault Tolerant Control strategy to the two-tanks system is presented. This system is viewed as a distributed system and it is divided, following a functional reasoning, into partial processes supervised at different levels. The results presented in the paper have been realized in the context of the European Project IFATIS (proposal number IST-2001-32122).

Abstract
