Concerns about trust put barriers in the development of electronic relationships particularly, in the agri-food industry where trust is not mediated appropriately often due to difficulties to examine food quality, since no examination is possible in some e-commerce environments. This paper aims to present the initial stages of the project "e-trust" which was established with the purpose of exploring the issue of trust and its role in the uptake of e-commerce technologies by SMEs in the agri-food sector. In this paper, the trust typology which forms the first step of the project is presented and analyzed. The typology was developed based on the review of the literature and was then tested by the means of interviews with a number of companies. In addition, the paper explores electronic initiatives of trust related to the proposed typology and finally, reports on the activities that will be carried out as well as expected results.

Abstract
In addition, the paper explores electronic initiatives of trust related to the proposed typology and finally, reports on the activities that will be carried out as well as expected results.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
