Semantika russkogo vtorogo vinitel’nogo padeža v sopostavitel’nom plane (na materiale russkogo i ital’janskogo jazykov) [Il secondo accusativo in russo in ottica contrastiva con l'italiano]

The article examines Russian constructions with the so-called second accusative case of nouns in comparison with their Italian functional equivalents. In particular, I analyze the constructions as well as пойти в солдаты and назначить в редакторы. The analysis is based on the Russian National Corpus (www.ruscorpora.ru), in particular, on the parallel Russian-Italian subcorpus. The study shows a general trend towards active using of the second accusative in Russian, the Russian-Italian correspondence have been systematized and the basic lexical-semantic groups of verbs are identified with the aim of optimizing the work of translators from Russian to Italian.
