Within the framework of a research project entitled "Resistance to glyphosate: setting up of strategies to protect herbicide efficacy", funded by Syngenta, investigations on resistant (R) and susceptible (S) C. canadiensis biotypes were carried out. The aim of the study was to investigate the physiological and molecular basis of glyphosate resistance in two Conyza biotypes (sampled in RR soybean fields from Ohio and Delaware).
