The diet of the common pandora, Pagellus erythrinus, of the Adriatic Sea, was examined. A total of 1148 specimens, ranging between 50 to 217 mm TL were collected in 2005 and 2006 from experimental trawl surveys. The diet was composed of 56 different prey species mainly belonging to Polychaeta and Crustacea Decapoda. Polychaeta were found more frequently in the diet of small specimens (TL≤110 mm) and decapods in the largest fishes.
