In the paper we address the problem of output regulation, namely the problem of designing a feedback controller yielding a closed-loop system in which all trajectories are bounded and the regulated output asymptotically decays to 0 as t tends to infinity. Specifically, our purpose is to stress the geometric interpretation of some features that any controller solving this problem necessarily possesses and to show how this provides a most natural point of departure for the actual design.

Abstract
In the paper we address the problem of output regulation, namely the problem of designing a feedback controller yielding a closed-loop system in which all trajectories are bounded and the regulated output asymptotically decays to 0 as t tends to infinity. Specifically, our purpose is to stress the geometric interpretation of some features that any controller solving this problem necessarily possesses and to show how this provides a most natural point of departure for the actual design.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
