In this paper we study the experience of three Accession Coutries in the adoption of the Inflation Targeting procedure in the moentary policy management. In particular, we study the the role of monetary policy in transition economy. This paper examines the transition experienced by Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary during the stage of accessing UE.
