The aim of this note is to present the activity performed by the Flight Mechanics Lab- oratory of the University of Bologna by means of Model Based Design concept; dynamic modeling, control system design, and Hardware/Software-in-the-Loop techniques for an UAS research project will be described as well as numerical and experimental results.
