The text "Tongguo huodong、biaoyan he yantaohui lianjie shufa yu yinyue 通过活动、表演和研讨会连接书法与音乐" is the Chinese translation of the essay "Connecting Calligraphy and Music through Activities, Performances and Workshops" written by M. R. Bisceglia, D. Caccin, A. Iezzi and M. Merenda on the occasion of Luo Qi's (Hangzhou, 1960) exhibition entitled "Sounds of Ink: Luo Qi and 30 Years of Calligraphyism", held from 12 October to 5 November 2023 at the International Museum and Library of Music in Bologna. The essay appears in the post-exhibition catalogue bearing the same title. The exhibition, curated by Adriana Iezzi, celebrated the thirtieth anniversary of the foundation of one of the principal currents of contemporary Chinese calligraphy, known as “Calligraphyism”, of which Luo Qi is the founder.
