This paper examines the intricate relationship between mediation and telematic techno logy, focusing on how digital tools are integrated into the mediation process. It begins by discussing the evolving legislative framework — highlighting successive modifications to key laws — and its impact on defining telematic versus traditional mediation. The author argues against a rigid bifurcation of mediation modalities, asserting that mediation remains funda mentally a human relationship and that technology should serve merely as an enabling tool. Key aspects include the initiation of mediation, the conduct of the first and subsequent meetings, the preparation of various session reports, and the drafting of both negative and positive closure documents, along with the corresponding agreements. The paper also explores challenges related to digital signatures, ultimately advocating for a flexible, mediator-driven approach that balances technological advances with the inherent informal spirit of mediation

Key aspects include the initiation of mediation, the conduct of the first and subsequent meetings, the preparation of various session reports, and the drafting of both negative and positive closure documents, along with the corresponding agreements.
