New stations of Echinolittorina punctata are reported from Lazio, central Tyrrhenian Sea coast of Italy. The known range is extended northward by 120 km. The expansion from stations further south in Campania and in southern Lazio may have occurred in only a few years. The northward range extension of this species is one of the most striking and well documented of any autochthonous molluscan species in the Mediterranean Sea.
