Visites guidées et genres interactionnels

This contribution aims to propose a concept of genre at the crossroads of a praxeological perspective and a semiotic extension, in particular with a view to integrating the dialogal dimension and investigating the existence of several interactional genres. To put our theoretical hypotheses to the test, we took advantage of a study corpus consisting of filmed guided tours of art and science museums. The ultimate aim is to clarify the notion of genre within the framework of a semiotic ecology and on the basis of a series of extensions of relevance, progressively taken into account. Genre thus emerges as a proportion of the agentivity of an enunciative instance and as a mediation for interweaving circuits of signification, which implies the establishment of specific correlations between media supports, on the level of expression, and prior discursive formations, on the level of content.
