La gestion du risque dans la ville. Patterns procéduraux dans les guides d’information et de prévention.

The semiotic and linguistic analysis of an information and prevention guide for major industrial risks and of a poster that instruct how to react in case of a terrorist attack aims to show how the verbal and graphic organization of theses discourses is exploited to communicate the risks and to become a semiotic material for the schematization, the appropriation and the accomplishment of emergency procedures. For these texts, a communication design endowed with prescriptive features and which needs also rhetoric of its acceptance, in order to distribute the responsibility and the engagement between the interactants. Thenceforth, what position can be made to the addressee in theses discourses? A non-secondary objective of this paper is the attempt to bring out the variants and invariants of the discours programmateur, its sub-types and interpenetration with other types of discourse.
