The essay analyses a number of versions of the famous ‘Rite of Spring’, a ballet created by Vaclav Nizinsky in Paris in 1913, starting from the careful reconnaissance made by Ada d'Adamo for her volume ‘Dancing the Rite’, but broadening the discourse to the Italian context and basing it on an analysis of the various approaches to ‘remaking dance’ that have been fielded with particular intensity since the 1980s. It systematises and defines the extensive relevant terminology in use.
Il saggio analizza alcune versioni del celebre "La Sagra della primavera", balletto creato da Vaclav Nizinskij a Parigi nel 1913, prendendo le mosse dalla attenta ricognizione fatta da Ada d'Adamo per il suo volume "Danzare il rito" ma ampliando il discorso sul contesto italiano e fondandolo su una disanima di vari approcci al "rifare la danza" messi in campo con particolare intensità a partire dagli anni Ottanta del Novecento.
