The early diffusion of Radulphus Brito’s questions on logic (vetus and nova) is probably accompanied by the equally early diffusion (between the last decade of the 13th and the beginning of the 14th century) of his Expositio super Porphyrium, as evidenced by the glosses preserved in a codex of the Biblioteca Medicea Laurenziana in Florence (Plut. 11 sin. 1). The lost work re-surfaces in this codex with a very high level of fragmentation: the glosses in fact – probably for didactic reasons – focus on the divisio textus, reporting only some of the numerous annotations that must have been part of the original text of Brito’s Expositio. One of these, very close to the A-version of his Quaestiones super Porphyrium, allows us to connect it with certainty to Radulphus Brito.

Abstract
One of these, very close to the A-version of his Quaestiones super Porphyrium, allows us to connect it with certainty to Radulphus Brito.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
