This paper focuses on partial discharge detection and analysis for medium voltage distribution system apparatuses. Since the cost structure of the problem dictates that measurement should be performed online, emphasis is given to tools able to (a) remove noise and separate multiple phenomena due to discharges in different apparatuses within the same grid, thus enabling partial discharge source identification, (b) locate a specific source in an environment where cross talk between different apparatuses and/or phases is very common. Eventually, working case will be presented to support the proposed tools.

Abstract
This paper focuses on partial discharge detection and analysis for medium voltage distribution system apparatuses. Since the cost structure of the problem dictates that measurement should be performed online, emphasis is given to tools able to (a) remove noise and separate multiple phenomena due to discharges in different apparatuses within the same grid, thus enabling partial discharge source identification, (b) locate a specific source in an environment where cross talk between different apparatuses and/or phases is very common. Eventually, working case will be presented to support the proposed tools.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
