Perspectives for the extension of Graiciunas' span of control to the process of enterprise creation.

In the paper is discussed a new approach to the organizational process of enterprise creation based on Graiciunas' span of control theory. The hypothesis we discuss is the extension of Graiciunas' principle, traditionally referred to organizational structures, to network processes. The evolution of global net and the increasing inter connections of individuals, organizations and networks create links among components not forecasted by creators of net and continously nourished by users without any control. These uncontrolled links are called hyperlinks and, although connecting two different dominions completely unknown each other, could influence the behaviour of both and create a cause-effect chain affecting the dynamic of the whole system.
