This focus is the result of a collective reflection on mobile communication in everyday life. It has the ambition of investigating it phenomenon of mobile communication in everyday life overcoming the “subject-object” duality which still seems to force the researcher to choose: either she or he takes an agency-oriented perspective either he o she takes a structure-oriented perspective. The contributions are committed to rethink and empirically analyse the relationship between humans and technologies in terms of reflexivity, which is a mutual construction of meaning and reciprocal sense making. Something that is easier to state than to do.
