In the mid-1980s, the Archive of the University of Jena came into possession of a minutes notebook from the "Philosophical Society," founded by M. Scheler and J. Goldstein in Jena. The notebook—whose provenance is not recorded in the UAJ records and remains unclear despite extensive research—was cataloged in Section Z (Miscellaneous Collections) and only in February 2008 was it transferred to Section U (Societies and Associations), Sector XIV, number 1. In Section Z, the notebook remained in obscurity. Although research had intensively focused on Scheler’s time in Jena since the mid-1990s, no scholar had come across this extraordinary source for the biography of the early Scheler. Uwe Dathe discovered the notebook during his research on sources related to students from Eastern Europe, when he systematically examined the various collections of the UAJ. Our edition reproduces all of Scheler’s lectures that were recorded and all his extensive contributions to discussions related to the lectures of other speakers.

Abstract
Our edition reproduces all of Scheler’s lectures that were recorded and all his extensive contributions to discussions related to the lectures of other speakers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
