Teatro India, situated on the riverbank of Tiber, was built in 1999 on the grounds of former industrial center by Mira Lanza, making it the second theater in Rome after the Argentina Theater. It comprises three main halls named Sala Oceano, Sala A and Sala B, utilized for live shows. The seating capacity for these halls are 96, 301, and 164, respectively. These three spaces were assessed according to the ISO 3382-1 criteria. Utilizing a multi-channel microphone and a panoramic camera, it is possible to visualize the direction and intensity of sound reflections. The acoustic quality of these three spaces was assessed and analyzed in comparison with other similar performance arts space of similar characteristics. Sala Oceano is able to offer a high-quality performance space for orchestral concerts. In contrast, Sala A is better suited for traditional opera and prose poetry performances, while Sala B offers the acoustic environment needed for modern performances. The overlay produced from the multichannel microphone represents the additional value to the acoustic analysis required for a high order ambisonics.
