The Argentina Theater in Roma is a historic theater inaugurated in 1732. By restoration in 1993, the theater returned to the orthodoxy of the Italian opera theater as one of the most important surviving venues. It features a traditional horseshoe shape, and the theater can seat 720 attendees. The impulse response of various key auditory parameters, as outlined by ISO 3382-1, was recorded as per standard requirements. The results of the most crucial acoustic parameters indicate proficient performance in the low frequencies, while shortcomings are observed in the middle and high-frequency bands. Additionally, an innovative acoustic research methodology was employed to demonstrate the direction of sound ray arrival and visualize sound intensity.

Abstract
The Argentina Theater in Roma is a historic theater inaugurated in 1732. By restoration in 1993, the theater returned to the orthodoxy of the Italian opera theater as one of the most important surviving venues. It features a traditional horseshoe shape, and the theater can seat 720 attendees. The impulse response of various key auditory parameters, as outlined by ISO 3382-1, was recorded as per standard requirements. The results of the most crucial acoustic parameters indicate proficient performance in the low frequencies, while shortcomings are observed in the middle and high-frequency bands. Additionally, an innovative acoustic research methodology was employed to demonstrate the direction of sound ray arrival and visualize sound intensity.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
