This essay focuses the attention on the European long term investment funds (Regulation 2015/760), better known as ELTIFs and, in particular, on the critical issues arising from the ELTIF rules dictated on early redemption of investors, in order to verify whether the re-forms of Regulation 2023/606 are suitable to give ELTIFs the necessary attractiveness and stability that was in risk of being compromised under Regulation 2015/760.
