This Special Issue of Catalysis Today is a compilation of 21 original research papers presented at the GIC2022, the 22nd conference of the Gruppo Interdivisionale di Catalisi (GIC) of the Societ` a Chimica Italiana (SCI), held in Riccione on 11–14 september 2022. The Gruppo Inter divisionale di Catalisi is the exchange forum of all catalysis-related components of the Italian Chemical Society. It especially promotes the interdisciplinary aspects of catalysis and the interactions between technology and fundamental research.
