Uomini senza territorio? Pratiche socio-spaziali delle persone senza dimora

The paper aims to explore the relationship of the homeless person with the territory. While the absence of belonging to the territory of the homeless person has been highlighted in the literature, the present contribution, based on some empirical research on a local scale, shows that the person experiencing this condition maintains a relationship with the place where he lives. Stable enrollment in a territory for the homeless person is a necessary re- source for his or her survival, while mobility to another place poses a threat, exposing him or her to social isolation.
