Tra correttezza e intolleranza. Radici, forme e compatibilità costituzionale della “Cancel Culture”.

The essay analyses the legal admissibility of Cancel Culture. The analysis, distinguishing the consideration of words and actions, starts from the requests for identity politics and the emphasis on political correctness. Treated separately from the elimination of the symbols of the regimes upon their fall, the constitutionality of Cancel Culture is stigmatized both when it manifests itself against facts of the past and when it censors expressions of the present.

Il saggio analizza l’ammissibilità giuridica della Cancel Culture. Lo studio, distinguendo la considerazione di parole e azioni, parte dalle richieste di identity politcs e dall’enfasi sulla political correctness. Trattata a parte l’eliminazione dei simboli dei regimi alla loro caduta, si stigmatizza la compatibilità costituzionale della Cancel Culture sia quando si manifesti contro fatti del passato sia quando censuri espressioni del presente.
