Geo-mechanical modelling and field measurements proved that the subsidence bowl could extend several km from the production sites. Many methods are available to monitor onshore subsidence, such as spirit levelling, permanent or semi-permanent GNSS, extensometers, tiltmeter arrays and SAR. As for offshore Oil and Gas production, these methods are not applicable, with exception of tiltmeter arrays. Monitoring of subsidence in offshore environments is a topic of great interest and in this poster an overview of recently published unconventional methods are shown.

Abstract
Geo-mechanical modelling and field measurements proved that the subsidence bowl could extend several km from the production sites. Many methods are available to monitor onshore subsidence, such as spirit levelling, permanent or semi-permanent GNSS, extensometers, tiltmeter arrays and SAR. As for offshore Oil and Gas production, these methods are not applicable, with exception of tiltmeter arrays. Monitoring of subsidence in offshore environments is a topic of great interest and in this poster an overview of recently published unconventional methods are shown.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
