The selection of papers stemming from the 2022 SILFS Post-Graduate Conference and which constitute the contributions of this volume appears as a trace of this expansion in new directions, all the more significant because it derives from "new," in the sense of young, scholars who grasp the fundamental aspects of these fields of study and push them in con- temporary directions, broadening their boundaries.
