The paper focuses on the relationship between cultural and natural landscape. In fact, the relationship between MAB UNESCO program and the phenomenon of performing arts in nature could pursue important strategy to enhance biodiversity and trigger local sustainability economies. The program has started from 1971 and it has applied many strategies to empower the local development. From Seville strategy (1995) to Lima Action Plan (2016), the Biosphere Reserves (MAB) have changed many governances towards interdisciplinary perspectives with transversal partnership. Nowadays, they could use performing arts in nature in order to implement good practices to define sustainable development on the local economy. The aim of this paper is to outline the positive relationships MABs governance system and live show in nature to individuate common strategy as the current PhD PON research – source of this paper – is doing with important result, even if still working progress.
