The association between persistent neonatal pulmonary hypertension (PPHN) due to premature closure of the ductus arteriosus of Botallo (DA) and NSAIDs intake in the third trimester of pregnancy is known in the literature. We describe the case of a full-term newborn with PPHN and right ventricular hypertrophy due to early DA closure following maternal treatment at 32 and 37 weeks of pregnancy with repeated doses of ketorolac.

Abstract
The association between persistent neonatal pulmonary hypertension (PPHN) due to premature closure of the ductus arteriosus of Botallo (DA) and NSAIDs intake in the third trimester of pregnancy is known in the literature. We describe the case of a full-term newborn with PPHN and right ventricular hypertrophy due to early DA closure following maternal treatment at 32 and 37 weeks of pregnancy with repeated doses of ketorolac.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
