La ripresa dei soggiorni estivi nella colonia di Castel Raniero di Faenza nel secondo dopoguerra (1945-1955)

Questo articolo analizza la ripresa dell’attività della colonia di Castel Raniero di Faenza dal 1945 al 1955, per opera dell’Ente ospizi marini e montani della città. Nel primo decennio postbellico questo ente cercò di organizzare il soggiorno dei bambini a fini terapeutici nella cornice di un’educazione cattolica basata su principi democratici. Dopo un’introduzione ge- nerale, la prima parte descrive la costruzione dell’edificio durante il regime fascista per i figli dei caduti di guerra. La seconda parte descrive i problemi della ricostruzione postbellica. La terza tratta del fallimento del progetto di finanziamento della colonia da parte dell’Unrra e la quarta della convenzione stipulata fra l’ente e il Centro italiano femminile che permise la ripresa delle attività a Castel Raniero dal 1950 al 1955. The Resumption of Summer Stay in the Castel Raniero Holiday Camp After the Second World War (1945-1955) This article analyzes the resumption of the activity of the holiday camp in Castel Raniero - Faenza from 1945 to 1955, by the city’s Organization for Marine and Mountain (Eomm) Charitable Institutions. During the first ten years after WWII, this institution sought to organize therapeutic stays for children within the framework of a Catholic education ba- sed on democratic principles. After a generale introduction, the first part deals with the construction of the building during the Fascist regime for the children of the war victims. The second part describes the problems of post-war reconstruction. The third part deals with the failure of the Unrra’s plan to finance the camp, and the fourth with the agreement entered into by the Eomm and the Italian Women’s Center, which allowed the resumption of activities at Castel Raniero from 1950 to 1955.
