Prove di telecrazia. Il Novantadue nel cinema di Alberto Sordi

Cinema is one of the tools with which to read the crisis of the Italian “Pri- ma Repubblica” and in particular the events of 1992, a very important year in the recent Italian history. Through the analysis of the two films by Alber- to Sordi Tutti dentro (1984) and Assolto per aver commesso il fatto (1992), of which he is filmaker and an actor, we have identified a key to interpreting the social and political crisis that would soon lead to the collapse of the “sistema dei partiti” (political parties system). The two film have been able to anticipate themes that will soon be in the public domain, but which Sordi has been able to anticipate with intuition and foresight. The films offer interesting insights to better understand the collective imagination of the period and the link between Cinema and History.
