This paper compares four research trends about which international community is discussing in the last times. The aim is to test the possibility to build on them a new paradigm for educative research leading to provide teachers with operative indications. Topics here discussed include: the role of the action in teaching, the relationship between body and cognition, the contribution of neurosciences to education.
