The system based on the Ridracoli dam provides the drinking water service for the Romagna region in northern Italy. However, over the last fifteen years, the water system has shown several signs of distress. The paper describes the studies conducted to assess the vulnerability of this system to expected climate change scenarios and to identify potential enhancement interventions.
Il sistema idrico basato sulla diga di Ridracoli, che garantisce l’approvvigionamento idropotabile della Romagna, negli ultimi quindici anni, ha mostrato in più occasioni segni di sofferenza. Vengono descritti gli studi compiuti per valutare la vulnerabilità di tale sistema agli scenari attesi di cambiamento climatico e identificare gli interventi di potenziamento necessari.
